Working on commissions has become one of the most rewarding aspects of my business. I love collaborating with clients to create customised pieces that perfectly suit their homes, whether it's a vibrant landscape or a cherished portrait of a beloved pet.

I offer two types of commissions:

  1. Pet Portraits: Crafted primarily with watercolours, these portraits capture the essence of your beloved pet. I also use some chalk pastel and/or pencil to capture the finer details.
  1. Acrylic Landscapes: These landscapes are predominantly painted with acrylics creating vibrant and dynamic scenes. I also incorporate oil pastel and oil sticks to add intricate details and depth. They are painted on board and come with a wooden frame.

Commissioning a painting requires a certain level of communication and trust.  My aim is to create a piece that you feel deeply connected to and are excited to hang in your home, while staying true to my creative process.

Before you commit to a commission, I please browse my latest works on Instagram and in my Shop Page. This will help you get a feel for my style and ensure that we are a perfect match.

I look forward to working with you and creating something beautiful and completely one of a kind for you and your home.

Process for Pet Portraits

I offer pet portraits in A4 and A3 sizes, and have pricing for both single animal portraits or double animal portraits (two animals in the same painting).

Once I receive your order, I will reach out to you via email to find out more about your artwork and vision. This is the perfect time to send through your photos of your pet - the more the better!  After we discuss the details I will then sketch out a rough draft so you can have a general idea of the composition. Once I get the ok from you, then your painting will begin!

Pet portraits generally take between 2-4 weeks to complete, depending on my current workload. Your pet portrait comes unframed and is safely packaged in a protective sleeve with sturdy backing to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Process for Acrylic Landscapes

First thing is to decide the best size canvas for your custom project. I generally have standard sizing available of A3, A2 and A1. I am however able to create a custom sized piece for you, but this will require additional time to be made. Once size is decided, I will invoice you for 50% non-refundable deposit to begin, with the remaining balance, plus shipping, due once your painting is complete.

I value any inspiration you can offer. If there's a specific place or landscape you'd like depicted, please let me know. Perhaps you're leaning towards a mountain setting but need some suggestions? That's perfectly fine—we can collaborate to discover the ideal inspiration. Feel free to share any particular paintings of mine that resonate with you, or if you have photographs, landscapes, or locations in mind for me to draw from. Whether it's Pinterest boards, colour palettes, or any other details, the more input, the better

After we discuss the details I will then sketch out a rough draft so you can have a general idea of the composition, then your painting will begin.

I want you to be completely In-love with your painting! If you are not 100%  satisfied with the end result you may use your deposit as credit toward other works in my shop.

I am happy to have extra prints created of the original for a small charge.
