Bird of the year - studio edition

Bird of the Year kicked off earlier this month and as a huge bird fan, I was jazzed. 

I spent a few mornings and evenings painting some of NZ's amazing birds-life. As always, I a sucker for the Kākāpō - I just love that chunky, green parrot.  But there were also some new faces in this round of bird paintings....
