February Recap
This February has been a busy one. We're currently selling our house and hosting open homes which has meant I've had to keep my studio VERY tidy and haven't been able to live in my usual organised mess... apparently that's not a good look for potential buyers. Who knew?
Because of this, I haven't been able to spend as much time creating as I'd have liked to, but I did manage to make time for these sketches based on places I visited over summer.
I've also been working on creating some bigger paintings based on the same places. The above sketches have really helped me visualise what colours and compositions I'd like to use.
Thank-you to everyone who supported my first ever Seconds and Samples Sale that I held early last month. It was so good to see some of these pieces find new homes. These pieces were all still beautiful, they just had small imperfections (such as being cut slightly too small by yours truely).
I captured this sunset from my studio window. I'd love to capture some beautiful sunsets in paint at some point in the future!
I'm so jealous of the naps my dogs have. Oh to live a life like this.
