Summer exploring

Summer exploring

After four months of lockdown followed by the mad Christmas rush, finally being able to spend time outdoors and exploring NZ has been amazing. I'm definitely feeling more refreshed and rested after the break, as well as full of new ideas for some new work.

Hot December mornings involved trips to the beach for a swim before work.

I headed south at the end of December to visit my Grandad in Invercargill, which involved a trip around the Catlins and a drive up the coast. The landscapes here are just beautiful and my camera roll is fill of inspiration for future works.

In early January I headed out camping with friends in Skippers Canyon and up in the Tekapo area. Again, so pretty, and so scenic!

I love camping; it's such a great way to see the country and reconnect with nature.

A good break always generates new ideas and the past few weeks have been no exception. I'm looking forward to seeing where these sparks and 2022 take me!
